The concept of health education is a relatively new one in Indonesia. In the year of 2009, Dr. Zaedunnisa Nur Umar from Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta had a brilliant idea to incorporate the teaching methodology and social cognitive theory into the medical field. She developed a curriculum for health education course that was mandatory for students who wanted to enter medicine or health sciences during this period. In her research, she conducted focus group interviews on 100 students from these courses conducted in 2012, 2013 and 2014 with outcome analysis on 36 topics related to medical practice such as healthcare philosophy, skills acquisition and attitude towards clinical practices. Four themes were found in her research findings. These are the following: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between knowledge and information, job fit, work-family balance, recovery after illness, and receiving early therapy. Work-family balance is especially important because it can weaken patients’ recovery after illness. The relationship between knowledge and information is also very significant. The overall findings show that there are no significant differences in work-family balance between women who have maximum knowledge of the field, C2 level of knowledge or men who have minimum Knowledge about this field. This result shows that there was no unwarranted impact of gender on work-family balance in this study. The objective of this study was to analyze the influence that knowledge and information level has on women’s role and status in the field of healthcare and their work-family balance during and after their maternity leave. The findings show that there is no significant difference between men’s role and status in the field of healthcare, knowledge and information level, or working time before and after maternity leave. This research shows that the delivery of early therapy to patients with chronic conditions depends greatly on their knowledge of medical terms. This is consistent with previous research about knowledge effect on health care decision making. The overall result shows that women have relatively more control over clinical decisions than men. This supports the study stated by Kuijpier and van der Hoeven (2005), who stated that the influence of gender on clinical decisions depends greatly on women’s knowledge of medical terms. This research results show that patients who do not use the internet in their homes are not likely to be involved in health care. These people are more likely to trust in doctors, nursing staffs, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in hospitals or clinics. This is because there is less reliance on self-diagnosis when they do not access the internet. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between clinical decision-making style and knowledge of medical terms. The findings show that there is no significant difference between men’s clinical decision style, their knowledge of medical terms level (low, medium, high), or their age. There is also no significant difference between women’s clinical decision style level, their knowledge of medical terms level (low, medium, high), or their age. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between health care values and health care behavior among healthcare providers in Indonesia. The study found that implementation of training on taking an interdisciplinary approach in healthcare by using problem-based learning was one way to achieve this aim. cfa1e77820
